School Counselor

Hello,

    I'm Lakale Sturdivant-Evans and I was raised in Oakboro NC. I am currently a school counselor and I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University. I loved my University so much, I decided to go back in  In 2001 and recieved my Master of Arts in Agency Counseling "Eagle Pride!!!".  I previously work for Daymark Recovery Services as a Youth and Adolescent/School Based Therapist for 3yrs and continued as a Mobile Crisis Clinician for 10 years. I than became employed at Monarch as a Behavioral Therapist before I landed my position as a School Counselor in 2009 with Stanly County School System. 

 

     I am married to Larnell Evans Jr and have two awesome kids, Zyon (16) and Zyonna(8). I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, decorating, and hanging out with my friends.
