Welcome to South Stanly Middle School — Home of the Bulls!

At South Stanly Middle School, we believe middle school should be a place where every student is known, challenged, supported, and inspired. Serving students in grades 6–8 in the heart of Norwood, North Carolina, SSMS is more than a school—it's a family where students are encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and reach their full potential.
 
Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Through innovative instruction, meaningful relationships, diverse extracurricular opportunities, and a strong focus on character, we prepare students not only for high school, but for success in life.
